Desktop Support Specialist - Executive Office - San Carlos, California - 6+ Month Contract

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide high-level IT support for the Office of the CEO. This is a hands-on, onsite role that requires a utility player mindset, strong technical expertise, and excellent communication skills for C-level interactions.

When not supporting the CEO directly, you will assist the rest of the site with IT needs, ensuring seamless operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite desktop support for the CEO and other executives as needed.
  • Serve as backup to the primary support technician.
  • Support end users across the site with hardware, software, and AV issues.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Mac systems and Windows environments.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Suite, Teams, Zoom, and other collaboration tools.
  • Maintain audio/visual systems for presentations and meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with C-level executives and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • 5-6 years of experience in IT support.
  • Strong experience with Mac environments, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom.
  • Hands-on experience with audio/visual equipment and setups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to support multiple teams and adjust to dynamic priorities.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time.
  • 4 days per week onsite and 1 day remote.
