Senior Security Engineer - India - 8:00am - 5:00pm US EST

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, managing, and configuring client security systems including:
    • Endpoint Protection/Anti-Virus.
    • Email Security (KnowBe4, Microsoft Defender, Mimecast, Proofpoint, Barracuda).
    • Log Aggregation and SIEM Solutions.
    • Network Security Systems (IDS/IPS).
    • Identity Threat Protection Solutions.
    • Dark Web Protection Solutions.
    • Data Loss Prevention Solutions.
    • Vulnerability Scanners.
  • Responding to and managing security incidents including:
    • Incident investigations (M365 Forensics).
    • Identity Detections.
    • Malware Detections.
    • Zero-Day Vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and research evolving security threats and provide detailed analysis for security communication with clients.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide recommendations for improving security posture and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Assisting clients with the implementation and maintenance of security solutions.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Assisting with troubleshooting issues with security tools and software.
  • Monitoring and maintaining client security systems.
  • Responding to security alerts and performing remediation actions to mitigate or eliminate security threats.
  • Analyzing vulnerability scans and reports to provide remediation plans to clients.
  • Researching new security trends and keeping up to date on security best practices.
  • Working with clients to develop and implement security policies and procedures that meet their specific security needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and SOC standards.
  • Providing regular security reports to clients and assisting with security audits as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in security analysis and management in an MSP environment.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security: Office365, Azure, AWS.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Email Security Solutions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Network Security devices and platforms.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Vulnerability Management.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Compliance, Incident Management and Reporting.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Experience with vendor management and solution alignment.
  • Exceptional with maintaining accurate documentation of procedures and generating comprehensive reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to analyze security events, investigate breaches, and provide root-cause analysis for security incidents.
  • Experience working with highly regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services.
  • Familiarity with SOC compliance standards and experience with SOC compliance assessments.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other related certifications are preferred.
