Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Database Developer preferably with background in the pharmaceutical industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in database, SQL, and cloud technologies to drive strategic decision-making and enhance our data analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain DATAstream application
• Lead the implementation of large-scale, complex DW solutions from initial design to delivery and implementation.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Act as a project lead, engaging stakeholders to develop new dashboards and enhance existing ones.
• Partner with analysts, product owners, and data scientists to improve team knowledge and reporting capabilities.
• Strategize and lead day-to-day sprint activities in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities for growth and innovation.
  Technical Skills
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex query writing and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Data Warehouse (Synapse) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Strong background in data warehousing concepts and implementation.
• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Azure and AWS.
• Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of R or Python for advanced analytics is a plus.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics roles.
• Proven track record of implementing large-scale DW solutions in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
