Europe based - Pharma Project Manager/Business Analyst

Responsibilities of Role

  • Project Management/Coordination (project plan development and administration) and business requirements facilitation and documentation for field sales projects, including but not limiting to: o Implementation of modules in Veeva and Salesforce. This project will be supported through another third-party consulting firm; the PM/BA will act as an internal PM/BA coordinator.
  • Role will include Project Management & Business Analysis activities, supporting the Commercial IT Director on additional small to medium sized projects and support requests as bandwidth permits Core Deliverables:
  • Standard project management deliverables: project plan, resource plan, schedule development, business success criteria, project charter documentation, budget management, burndown/ETC, etc
  • Identify, communicate and maintain a RAID log and ensure the timely and quality resolution of Risks, issues to ensure project success
  • Communication planning and support
  • Task level resource planning and weekly status meetings and reporting • Agile development management (daily standups, backlog facilitation, etc)
  • Budget updates, align external spend with project progress and oversee project accrual submission, etc
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
  • Experience with SharePoint, MS Office required, and MS Project and Visio preferred
  • Collaborative, agile mindset to drive speedy, creative and efficient use of technology and data to drive business value.
  • Business acumen and experience leading small projects a plus
  • Ability to think analytically, a proactive problem solver.
  • Ability to interpret relevant data and information and assess how or if it affects the project health, timeline or deployment plan.
  • Adhere to the project management lifecycle and use of PPM tools for planning, reporting and fulfilling project deliverables and documentation

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years project management and coordination experience
  • Communication expertise (internally, developing communications plans, ability to recognize and communicate risks and issues)
  • Action oriented, high business acumen
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce/Veeva CRM, Microsoft platform, iOS app, other technical capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this role
  • Ability to clearly communicate across the various business units and within IT is critical to this role.
  • Ability to travel within the EU region for workshops and team meetings as needed (3-4 times per year)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple language spoken/written
  • Based out of EU (UK/Germany/Italy/Spain)
  • Pharmaceutical / biotech industry experience highly desired
  • Customer data/master data management experience a plus
  • Experience integrating and or deploying data warehouses, ETL, etc. – nice to have
