Responsibilities
- Perform continual Quality Analysis in a hardware depot environment that supports 30+ clients with unique build process requirements.
- Identify opportunities for quality enhancement.
- For example: Identifying processes that are consistent across all clients but individually documented and consolidating these into standardized universal processes.
- Draft, update, and maintain hardware depot documentation according to Good Documentation Process standards.
- Perform Quality Control checks on all outbound shipments to ensure the following:
- Devices are configured correctly according to current build process documentation.
- Shipments include all items requested in ticket (suite lists vary by supported customer, but can include laptops, iPads, desktops, iPhones, and peripherals (monitors, keyboards, docks, etc.).
- Shipments adhere to any special instructions found in ticket.
- Tickets are updated according to process as shipments are picked up by courier.
- Perform Quality Control checks on asset management, including involvement with routine inventory audits of our depot stock room.
- Ability to navigate a ticketing system (ServiceNow) to obtain assigned workload for the day.
- Ability to follow instructions within assigned tickets and according to documented processes.
- Review all completed builds per quality control process to ensure the build matches expected outcome.
- Ensure tickets are updated properly and regularly.
Required Skills
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Familiarity and adherence to Good Documentation Practice
- Ability to understand and follow process documentation, and understanding the importance of escalating issues when a build deviates from documented process.
- Strong writing skills – ability to update documentation in clear, easy to follow language and consistent formatting.
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in a quality analysis role
- Some experience in a hardware repair depot/on-site support role a plus, but not a requirement.
