Job Summary

The Smartsheet Developer – Pharma IT will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Smartsheet solutions to support Slipstream-IT’s pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. This role will involve close collaboration with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define solution requirements, create scalable workflows, and ensure successful implementation aligned with client needs and Slipstream-IT quality standards.

This is a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver effective solutions with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tailored Smartsheet solutions based on client requirements.
• Analyze business processes and facilitate technical solutioning discussions.
• Translate business needs into functional workflows using Smartsheet features such as Control Center, Dashboards, Reports, and Workspaces.
• Lead the development and implementation of Smartsheet automations, data integrations, and reporting frameworks.
• Administer and optimize Smartsheet platforms, ensuring low-maintenance and high-efficiency solutions.
• Develop advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and Data Shuffles; utilize Dynamic View to enhance user access control.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and end-user training for deployed Smartsheet tools.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Smartsheet with other enterprise systems where applicable.
• Stay current with Smartsheet platform enhancements and incorporate best practices.
• Support Smartsheet reporting needs for project management and operational teams.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience developing and managing Smartsheet solutions.
• Strong understanding of Smartsheet features including:
  • Control Center blueprint design and deployment.
  • Workspace and Sheet configuration.
  • Dashboards, Reports, and advanced metric creation.
  • Data Shuttle and Dynamic View.
• Experience functioning as a Smartsheet Platform Administrator, Specialist, or Developer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering iterative improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Familiarity with Stage-Gate processes and regulated environments (e.g., GxP).
• Certifications in Smartsheet, PMP, CAPM, or other project management tools are a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - or equivalent work experience.

Work Requirements

• Position is fully remote; employees are expected to attend all video meetings with professional attire and camera ready and on.

Part Time Hourly Rate

• $40/hr-45/hr.
